Provides Windows and applications Logon using fingerprint recognition

BioPass Standalone allows individuals to logon to windows and web applications using their fingerprints.

Registration of fingerprint templates can also be done at the time of windows login

After successful logon, the registration templates screen will come up where users can register their fingerprints.

Provides logon authentication using centralized password management and fingerprint authentication (Multi-factor Authentication)

BioPass Standalone allows individuals to authenticate themselves by using a password or combination of password/fingerprint.

Fingerprint and password are maintained on the user's system itself and no server is required

BioPass Standalone stores the credentials in the local cache of the users system for further authentication purposes.

Includes Simple Sign-On functionality for managing portfolios of passwords for web-based applications, and fingerprint- based file and folder encryption and decryption

Simple Sign-On feature allows users to manage their passwords for web- based application. The user no longer needs to remember different passwords for different applications. Once the URL is registered, the user will be prompted for his fingerprint. When authenticated the credentials will be passed on to the application and the user is logged in.

Supports Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista and Windows 7

BioPass Standalone supports Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista and Windows 7 clients.

Does not require a Windows Server, Domain controller or Active Directory Services for deployment

BioPass Standalone does not require any of the above installations.

Is fingerprint sensor agnostic—Register with one fingerprint sensor and authenticate with another

It is not mandatory for users to update or modify their templates with change of sensor as long as they use a supported sensor.

Smartcard Authentication

BioPass Standalone allows individuals to logon to windows using smartcard authentication technology. Users can authenticate themselves using Smartcards in addition to their fingerprints.
